​​The Foundation aims, among the various actions that will be carried out, the specific task of helping young people, supporting them also through the provision of an annual prize. 

More specifically, the FCM will be the hub of the research, identification and selection of deserving young people, whose applications will be examined by the month of December of each year by the technical committee, appointed within the Foundation, to provide a concrete contribution to support the youngest. 

Self m-AID award is the name born from the intertwining of the pronunciation of the words SELF MADE and AID: where AID indicates a support that will materialize in a prize that is aimed at talented young people who have started a business based solely on their own strength, SELF MADE. 

The candidates will be startups and emerging businesses in difficult contexts, preferably in Italy, including those with a strong female entrepreneurship, companies with openings to disabled people, businesses that pursue environmental sustainability, associations that operate meritoriously in the social sector, agencies that have distinguished themselves in the new economy and all members of small businesses and artisans, with access constraints up to 45 years of age. 

The award will be presented during a ceremony in person at the same time as the SIGEP in Rimini in January of each year, with specific reference to the ice cream and pastry sector for which the Rimini Fair has an international importance
