"​"Bingotto – On the Children's Side" at the Bookstore"

​On Friday, November 28, 2025, the Cicciapelliccia Bookstore in Baronissi (Salerno) hosted the event "Bingotto – On the Children's Side at the Bookstore," an event entirely dedicated to children. 

​​The goal was to discuss healthy eating through the power of stories, the creative use of color, and the convivial experience of snack time, transforming nutritional education into small everyday habits and combating childhood obesity over time. 

The format was born from the "Bingotto, On the Children's Side!" project and will feature two of the fairy tales from the web app performed by booksellers and actresses Claudia Balsamo and Daniela De Bartolomeis. The event will include workshops where coloring sheets help children naturally grasp the messages, followed by a healthy snack that translates the words into examples. 

The meeting is part of the educational program the Foundation is developing in the local communities, aiming to make the scientific content available on the website www.fondazionecarlomendozzi.org accessible and to build a bridge between school and home. The library thus becomes a familiar place where children can practice simple choices: listen, try, repeat. It is in this continuity that prevention finds its place, free from technicalities.
